Bread pizza

A simple yet elegant dish for all you amateurs like me...
you will need
bread slices
tomatoes - 2
onions - 2
capsicum - 1/2

cheese cubes
butter
ketchup

A MICROWAVE OVEN!
First up: 
Cut the veggies. 
If  you don't know how, give your mom a call! Transfer them to a bowl. Add some ketchup to taste and mix them up well, such that all the veggies are evenly distributed; this mix serves as toppings

Now preheat the oven at 200oC (with nothing in it, yeah that is what “pre”heat means!:)). Again, if you don't know how, read the instruction manual; or just figure it out! TIP: the oven should look red like a furnace and preheat usually lasts ten minutes. You may or may not get a time indication so just wait for the beep(s).
Now, while preheat is going on, take some bread slices and butter one side of each. Now evenly spread the toppings on each slice. Now add a drop of ketchup to the toppings on each slice. This is a real taste changer, so don’t forget it! Next, grate some cheese on ea

ch slice, such that it looks very presentable. Rummage through your kitchen drawers and look for the grill stand component of the oven. You can place upto four or five slices of bread on it as shown in the picture. You can also use the pic as reference to figure out what exactly this grill stand is!
Using a glove, place the grill stand with the slices in the oven. Choose convection mode, set the temperature to 200oC and set the timer to 8 mins. 

NOTE: brown bread or softer varieties of bread may tend to

burn, so keep an eye on it for the last minute or two. If you feel it’s burning hit stop. After the time’s up, leave some standing time of two minutes, no you don’t need to stand with a stopwatch! The oven beeps once a minute, so switch off after the 2nd beep and yummy bread pizzas are ready to eat!


NOTE: The bread is supposed to look a little more golden. You can add a couple of more minutes of convection if you want. The quantity of the veggies is sufficient to serve upto 10 slices. The instructions were written keeping the knowledge of amateurs in mind, so experts please don’t mind the language. And most importantly, if you have any questions, please DON’T ask me! :P

Indian Masala Sandwich

This preparation is assumed for the intake of 2 persons. For preparation of this, please ensure that you have the following in your stores..

Onions - 2 Nos.

carrot - 1 No.
tomato - 2 Nos.
ginger - 1 small piece (if it is not available in your kitchen, leave it)
salt - 1 tea spoon
lemon - 1 no.
garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon (if you want it to be too spicey, you can make it into 2 tea spoons)

Cut the onions and tomatoes into small piece with the help of knife and grind the carrot into small pieces as shown in the photo. Cut the ginger into small tiny parts.

Heat the pan at a lower heat radiance and ensure that there are no water in the pan. After initial heat of 1 minute, pour 2 spoons of ghee and have that boil for about 1 minute. Upon seeing little smoke emanating from the pan, have the cut onions placed on to the pan. Add  1 tea spoon of garam masala powder and along with it, add the ginger and salt of 1 tea spoon. Mix all these 3 ingredients till such time the onions become golden in color. This will take about 3 minute of cooking. Now add carrot that was grinned by you and add this on the fried pan. Mix it  till such time the carrot merges with the other 3 ingredients. Now add the chopped tomatoes and frying the same for it settle down, now close the pan with a plate and allow it to be cooked for some time.


Let us now to go to our Micro Woven. Ensure that you clean the Micro woven with some clean tissues. Switch on the Micro Owen and allow in a grind mode for about 2 minutes.

Let us now utilize our 2 minutes that we have - go back to your fry pan, switch off the electric stove or the gas that you have, pour this in a medium cup in spread manner. Take the lemon and chop in into 2. Pour the juice of the lemon into the medium cup and ensure that you mix everything well. Place the masala mix on top of the bread (as shown in the pic) and close it with another bread. Do that for 3 sets of breads.  Place it on the Micro woven in the grind mode and heat it for 5 minutes.

Once this is ready serve it in a plate with tomato sauce and some hot tea. Your India Masala Sandwich is ready. It also has some nutritious value.
